I finally did my first ultra ride.
21h : 04m : 15s and 457km later and I hold the new FKT on the Colt Loop Trail beating the previous time of 26h : 54m : 17s.
The gravel loop had some incredibly technical and challenging sections, some forced hike a bike, even some unavoidable water crossings.
Some incredible highs and lows across this loop, a few hairy moments including a double light failure in the last few hours and a 120km slog through borderline unrideable trail.
This was a big challenge that I took on fairly blindly, my longest ride before this was 236km or 8 hours 😅
Super proud of this effort and really looking forward to doing some more ultras in the future 😁
