Which used road bike do I choose?

Seller hasn't got back to me but it seems like carbon fork, ultegra components, and the price is attractive. If someone knows the year this one is from that would be great.

A side question: will new or 1 year old lower end groupsets (Claris, Sora) be better than these 10 – 15 year old Ultegra groupsets?
