So I’m a teacher and I got this Marin Presidio 3 in 11/22 and I commute every day in all weather here in Boston. Got about 2800 miles on it and several of the teeth were torn off my belt drive. I’ve read about belt drives going for 19,000 miles or more! Commute is fairly flat and my riding style is moderate/chill. What gives?
Fwiw, I’ve also had ongoing shifting issues with this bike but it was lately (a few months) resolved. Any insights appreciated.
