Saw a while ago that etnies was coming to Walmart and they’ve finally reached my corner of the world. Not sure if anyone else has given them a whirl but I recon I’m gonna. The soles feel super firm which I’m hoping holds up until I get some brakes. Allegedly genuine leather and they’re advertising that proceeds go to planting trees; recycled laces.
I’m a pretty high effort/low talent rider, so they’ll get put through the wringer. I’m going to only wear them for riding to keep it scientific as possible. I think they look good enough to wear around but I’ve been blasting through shoes like they were going out of style recently. Need some brakes.
They were thirty bucks flat. I want them cult vans shoes bad, but these are 1/4 the cost. Will report back on how they’re doing; if anyone else has tried them please chime in.
