2020 Specialized Tarmac Disc Expert frame (size 61)
Also bought a Canondale CAAD12 Disc (2 sizes too small and with a dented frame) from which I scavenged
– Ultegra 11speed mechanical groupset and brakes.
– Wheels. Dt Swiss 1800/370 setup
– Bars. FSA Omega
– bottle cages
I've thrown some MTB flat pedals on and done one quick ride.
Tyre clearance is practically nonexistent, but I have some new wheels ordered, and then these can be moved to my gravel bike
Bars might be too narrow, but feel pretty good so far.
Seat came down a fair bit from this picture.. I couldn't even touch the pedals.
Overall feels fast and comfortable. Shimano brifters and 2x gearing is something a bit strange so far.
Hoping I can resell the remaining canondale frame/parts and keep the total costs for this base build under $3kNZD
