In Loire Valley, Château de Chenoceau has the reputation of being ladies’ castle. There were stories of Chenoceau as a trophy castle being passed from Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de’ Medici due to rivalry between the two for the favour of Francis II. Its history is reflected in today’s garden design and interior decoration. Chenoceau is famous for its elegant soft colour palettes in the garden dedicated to Diane de Poitiers and her rival Catherine de’ Medici. There is also a very special blend of interior design and fresh flower bouquets which made Chenoceau stands out in the 1000 or so châteaus in the Loire Valley.
