Priory Park Community School sets off on day 3 or their charity bike ride.
Conditions are awful today, fog, snow ,wind and rain. Today we ride from Carr Shield through Consett to Sunderland when our adventure ends. Two difficult climbs to early on, Ropehaugh and Rookhope made really tough due to the headwinds and freezing conditions.
This final stint sees us ride 52 miles, climbing 773 meters then gradually descending 1188 meters to the coast where we dip our wheels in the North Sea.
Truly an incredible and inspirational journey that we are all so very proud.
