Hi everyone! Just deleted my last post because I got some info mixed up.
I’m looking at buying a road bike, will be my first of my own, but have some experience on my dad (2006ish trek 1500) which I loved and had no issues with. Just trying to find something decent I can put a moderate amount of miles on and I found these two.
First is a trek madone 5.2 (I think 2008ish?) It’s listed for 400 and has full ultegra drive train. This seems like a great deal to me, but wanted to see what y’all thought.
Second is a trek 2300, listed for 280. It also has mostly ultegra parts, and is a decent amount cheaper, but not sure what the going rate for this would normally be.
If anyone could give me some guidance, I would really appreciate it. Thank you all!
