Hey all,
This is a specific question for people familiar with carbon frames. I have an offer for a Rondo Ruut CF2 – bought in Jan 2023 – has seen about 2000km – it looks ok‘ish I guess – initially he payed 2650€ – and its on sale for 2000€.

Only significant damage is on the fork. He tightened a screw without a washer and so the carbon broke a little „only on the surface“. It was fixed with some glue. I have very little experience since this will/could be my first gravel and I have no knowledge about carbon as a material.

So two questions:
1. is the damage tolerable or will the damage increase over time and could it possibly even weaken the structure of the fork?
2. would you consider to buy the bike and accept the price?

Super greatful for advice and your thoughts!
