Just want to share my experience. Bought my 2nd hand S2E Bromtpon last year for commuting. Got it in relatively bad shape, it was not shifting properly, it was full of scratches but was cheap. Fixed the shifting and all was great. It was suitable for most of the city commute but i find it a bit lacking. It needs more gears for hilly terrain.
Last week, finally modified it to 5 speed. Gear range and shifting was significantly better. The 11-25T gear range from 12-16 was night and day. The best thing was I had fun modifying the bike.
