  1. I bought a second hand ebike ( Cube Hybrid 500 pro) with 70 mile on clock.
I ride to work and back every day. Absolutely love it best purchase I have ever made and also lost two and a half stone in 4 months.

  2. Let's be real here guys, an ebike is cool and fun but it isn't going to be giving you the same workout as a regular bike. I've known dudes who've ridden an emtb for a year and still fat lol. But here's what it boils down to, The regular bike burns fat but also helps develop leg muscle mass. That leg soreness after riding a regular bike is called doms (delayed onset muscle soreness) and it basically means muscle growth and muscle burns fat. Idk, but I rarely if ever get Doms when I ride the ebike.

  3. Yea im good ill stick with my manual mtb . My 29er weighs 28lbs vs 60lbs . You know thatheart is going to sky rocket if anything happens to that battery or motor . No thank you im good .

  4. I’m 63 years old with Heart disease. My Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 is fantastic. I cycle regularly around the BCP area and the Isle of Purbeck. Regularly doing 30-40 miles. I wouldn’t even attempt this on my normal mountain bike. The E bike gives me freedom to explore further and further. I still use my normal bike for local trips. So in my case a E bike doesn’t make me lazy, it certainly gets me out and about.

  5. Lets see.. im sure you guys all drive ev cars to save the planet. I think its hypocrisy, you added more carbon footprint to the healthiest and cleanest mode of transportation. Stop justifying this nonsense!

  6. Makes sense because you're using muscle and energy to keep the bike balanced and maybe even more with an electric motor on a bike, making it much more heavy

  7. My buddy bought an ebike and his fitness went to zero, he is gradually passing to use eco to tour mode all the time. He also train less often because he can ride anyway. So no, I am sorry, this is not true. Give a human a way to work less and he will work less.

  8. Is he a mtb scientific? Not i dont think so, but the guys who dont own ebikes can tell you the true about ebikes. They can tell you what they hate them for sure.

  9. Yes but who climbs a mountain and goes down the mountain and decides to go up again? I don't see that very often.

  10. Most of the nay sayers think ebike means throttle. For some reason they can't understand how a class 1 works. It's as much of a workout as natural, just faster.

  11. Ebikes arent necessarily for lazy people. It's more for people who cannot ride a bicycle very well on their own for whatever reason, like having leg pain or back pain

  12. I get why people who actually ride get e-bikes because they’re real riders but the problem is that half the people who buy e-bikes just want to look like they exercise or care about the environment but they only have e-bikes because they think they’re the new mopeds 🏍️ of the 21st century. But they never pay attention to the bike and battery life and they are the people who complain about oh my e-bike caught fire 🔥.

  13. All the data and stats may suggest effort but you can ride hard day after day with an ebike unlike an analogue bike so how you feel and recover speaks louder column than stats. Plus Jonesy has a proper belly on him 😂

  14. The best use I’ve seen with an e-bike was on my mtb team where a dad had one to keep up with his son. He was exercising just as hard but the bike closed the performance gap.
