I’m looking for a trail bike that I don’t feel limited with, and can have a lot of fun on.
Also, how much has modern geo changed in the past three years? Is it close to it’s apex and I should go ahead and grab something newer for the long haul? Let me know what you think.
Right now I’m considering a 2019 Devinci Troy that has been converted to a mullet. $2150 150/140 travel?
A 2023 Jeffsy core 3 $3600 160/160 travel i believe it is.
The attached Cannondale Habit 2 for $2,300, that has boosted front and rear suspension and well maintained. (150/142 travel)
Or a Habit 2 carbon from my local bike shop for $2,850. I think this is 140/130 travel, which I might want more than? But it would also be nice to have the warranty.
Lastly a GT sensor carbon elite 150/140 travel for $2,850.
Also any known weaknesses of any of these options please let me know. I’m cautious about getting a 2020 with no warranty, or a mullet 2019 that doesn’t ride properly (could be a lot of fun though), or a GT sensor that I really don’t know what year it is, a Habit 2 that I can’t push enough on some off camber PNW loam or progressing jumps, etc. Any advice is appreciated.
