Hi I need some advice on identifying my fix cup bottom bracket.
It’s a French Starnord Eddy Merckx 1977 ish
Sadly it’s seized on to the frame.
I’m going to try and get it off but of course need to know if I’m going clockwise or counterclockwise.
The internet is telling me not much I hopped Reddit might be able to help me!
I did find this one post that looks like my bike:

“Forged Huret ends, a full complement of Vitus 172 tubes. Metric and with French threads of course, but the seller supplied both a headset and a bottom bracket. And in a non-French, but also very usable 62cm size to boot. Dang!”
