Hello everyone, something a little different, this route starts in Burton & is quite urban in places but does go out onto various woodlands, countryside cycleways & towpaths for about 27/28 miles. The route passes through & around the following places; Coronation Park, Albert village lake, Conkers, Hicks Lodge & Donisthorpe.

hello everybody Welcome to the channel today something a little bit different um we’ve got a bit of a urban bike ride today but it still involves lots of bridal ways cycleways out into some Woodland Etc conquers Donis Thorp Albert Village um but today we’re starting in Burton on Trent at Mr 118 house okay so um it’s roughly about 2729 miles something like that quite easy flat no may be a few Hills in places I can’t remember but as always boys and girls there’ll be a link in the description to my kute map of the rout below enjoy we will see you in a bit cheers you now we’ll find out when we get there look good it no we might have to go around oh hang on it looks like it looks like people have built a bridge there so we have a little look give it you boik it’s all right we’ll just go way we the thing would have taken us anyway so we know for the future uh that’s super buggy I ain’t getting my feet soaking wet and dirty trying to SPL splodge through that okay that’s a shame don’t matter there’s no rush today is there just go the way my mapping where the gate is up there right we know to keep that section out unless it’s not been raining for months Golf Course coronation Park see this all this area is new now that was a nice little Hill right now for all the wonderful Woodland Cycle paths and stuff Mr [Applause] foot I know where we are now now we’re actually here I know where we are T we’re okay this is Albert Village Lake used to come here with the kids free parking over there there’s loads of little parking areas is everywhere we’re going all the way around to the other side um and up that way through conquers yay [Applause] whoop whoop one eight woman8 [Applause] that bit along there they want you to get off but you can still get down it if you like [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] then let go and have a little bit of fun in the woods Christopher Take the Lead down there take the lead enjoy go they they in there enjoy take the lead go fast where you going in yeah there a tree oh no Mr Chris’s chain came off where is he you got it on there he is don’t worry the other day my chain kept bouncing off when I was on my own every fire this minute cuz I was going hell for leather down some real couple of these little ones you can really get some good uh jump page over yeah normally go that way um that makes it shorter but we’re doing a nice all the way around the outside circuit so we’re going to carry on with this bit and it’ll join back up with that bit later so just take it nice and easy now just enjoy the scenery Christopher enjoy the weather this corner and that’s the end y that’s the end did you enjoy that SK are for kids enjoy that so then Christopher what do you reckon to Hicks Lodge all right man yeah it’s okay isn’t it yeah oh yeah uh yeah it’s all right yeah yeah yeah so that’s another one there look so uh cery whatever go down there it’s all Woodland and another Lake and everything know I said I hadn’t seen any kids with inflatable canoes there we go that’s one thing I never do to get up get in a dingy it’s not a dingy it’s an inflatable kayak kayak they’re actually quite cool that one looks quite cheap and nasty but get some really good ones and they are rock solid and this is the ideal place to come and do it oh yeah yeah [Applause] yeah did he we’re on the wrong side again we’re like an and deck get that side know yeah yeah told you all the tracks and trails around here are brilliant aren’t they oh yeah all sign posted tell you where you’re going I love it pretty good yeah yeah this whole area I was surprised when I first took a glance back at it a few months ago when I thought I wanted to plan a ride for Morgan you know from that Lake and up there and back oh there’s that old Volvo again look nice nice yeah yeah ride it like a donkey right Chris is guiding the way back now boys and girls oh here okay glass okay you’re probably going to take me past Morgan’s house well boys and girls we’re going completely off route we’re following Christopher and his local knowledge navigation ha right up that street
