Hello,

I'm looking for a Trail Hardtail and can't decide between the Radon Cragger 8.0 at 1700€ (with shipping) or the Rose Bonero 3 at 1585€ (with shipping). I am from Romania.

I'm looking for a versatile bike that will work well on rougher terrain, downhill etc, but also for sometimes messing around in the city. I am getting back into biking after taking a break since I was a teenager. I'm 25 years old, 176cm and 80kg. I still feel quite agile on a bike, but I don't have any advanced skills under my belt (can't even bunny hop), at least not yet, but I was quite athletic when I was a bit more fit and I am eager to learn more advanced riding skills.

The thing is, I'm looking for something to keep long term and to service it and take care of it on my own, which is why I would go for something a bit more expensive and well equipped from the beginning, but still a hardtail since people say it's better to learn on a hardtail.

Another option would be the Rose Bonero 2, but for the price difference of only 200€ I think the Bonero 3 offers a much better value so I'm thinking if I end up choosing Rose, I might as well just go with the Bonero 3.

Quick note: I have recently purchased a gravel bike which covers the road and light offroad side of things, so I'm looking for something with a bit more travel at the front, so not an XC bike.

Anyone have any experience with either brands? Are they of good build quality? Which of the bikes are better equipped? I think the Cragger is better equipped in the Fork and Brakes category, but the Rose Bonero 3 (as far as my research went) has better wheels and is a little cheaper. In the end, for the price I think both are really well equipped.

Any advice is welcome in helping me decide between the two. Thank you in advance!
