I am aware this has been discussed several times already, but I still cannot make up my mind. I’m struggling in choosing between a Canyon Aeroad M and L 2023/24 Models.
On Canyon’s website/sizing chart I am right in between size M and L (183.5/184 cm height/84.5/85 cm inseam). Most of you folks recommend to size down when in between sizes.
However, given I’m coming from an endurance bike with a bit more of a relaxed position (never got a fitting on that bike, Cube Attain GTC SL), I’m wondering whether I should actually go for size L instead of M for the Canyon Aeroad, also considering that I would not consider myself the most flexible human being.
Attached picture shows a comparison between my previous endurance bike size and Canyon Aeroad M/L. My Cube bike size 58cm was probably on the upper end in terms of reach, but assume that a fitting for Aeroad would allow to, e.g., move the saddle a bit forward to compensate for the slightly longer reach on
the Aeroad L.
Thanks so much for any input, really appreciate it!
