I wish to upgrade my Stumpy’s shock as my old Fox DPX2 (210×50) from 2019 is getting inadequate with my riding style and trails. I am thinking of putting a Fox Float X2 (210×50) instead but am unsure whether there is enough clearance for this shock to avoid smashing my frame. I have seen on multiple threads that Stumpys had enough clearance for the X2 (see attached picture from this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/MTB/comments/g55npn/comment/fo53eag/) but some others were advocating the opposite. My frame is a 2019 S-Works Stumpjumper 29” FSR carbon (https://www.specialized.com/us/en/s-works-stumpjumper-29-frameset/p/154550?color=226126-154550)
