I'm picking up a bike on Monday ( Fuji super road racer, unknown year). Id like to do a restomod for the fun of it.
Do any of you have suggestions on an indexed derailleur, and indexed downtube?
I really want to keep the downtube shifters, but would like to increase the ease, and reliability of the shifting. I also don't plan to spend a lot of money ( thinking used parts ), as I'm also planning on replacing the wheel set with alloy ( I think this bike has steel rims, but I guess it depends on the year ).
