in this video I’m going to give you a run through of a Bolton test route so this is the Bolton driving test center here in a quite Sunny greater Manchester here today um so I’m going to give you a full run through of the route I’m going to give you some tips and advice via a commentary drive as we go around I’m going to show you where to do the maneuver as well um and there’s a few little tips and hints on the way about areas which could trip you up and fail you and maybe where have had a few students over the years uh fail on this particular test route so hope it helps okay here we go so quick check around no one else in the car park okay right so just driving through the gates just sticking to the left as I’m coming through the gate here it’s a two-way entrance even though it does look quite tight sticking it relatively tight to the curve on the left hand side right so for this test route I am going to turn right so center right mirror pop your indicator up to the right quick check right and left couple of times all clear and what happens then is you come straight to this mini roundabout okay I’m going to turn left so it’s Center left mirror indicate down okay couple of checks to the right yeah all clear okay right now while salivating up this hill what you encounter is a zebra Crossing you might be able see the flashing amber lights um and then you have a mini roundabout literally yards after it this catches a lot of people out because they get too focused on or distracted by the zebra Crossing so I’m going to turn right there are no pedestrians okay the car’s opposite wait for me I’m just looking on the right to see if anyone’s turning right nobody there round the circle just not the 20 sign just on the left okay Quick Check of our Central mirror right bit of a meeting traffic situation here I’m just going to hold back looks a bit narrow for me in that white car check my center right mirror quick blind spot check and Away you go right now a lot of times on driving T the last you to just pull up and park on the left just going to pull up and park on the left just after this camper van all right there’s no one around it’s not going to bother to indicate line it up relatively close to the curve bringing it round parallel once you’ve stopped neutral and handbrake okay on a little bit of an incline so all the examiner now would say is just drive on again when you’re ready so back into G one left and right blind Pock looks fine ahead looks fine no one around gas and biting Point first then hand bre off as you turn to the right make a final right blind spot check and then away I’m going so remember it’s 20 mph on this road okay just to come up over the hill yeah no oncoming cars at the moment just got that gentleman just crossing the road just eased off my gas check my central mirror yeah he’s across now that’s fine so it’s quite a narrow road if you look ahead it’s quite a long straight road lots of P Vehicles quite a few speed bumps as well we already see see that it’s 20 mph okay so you can go 20 in between the humps just ease off your gas before you get to the humps they’re quite high on this road so get through 15 or just below depending on what you think is necessary all right center right mirror just nudge around these power vehicles right now I’m just easy enough now to allow that silver one to get back onto its own side of the road there it goes just thank me for the courtesy then I can stay fairly Central right now the same with this oncoming silver one there’s a bit of space on the right but I’ve also got a bit of space on the left so I’m just going to shimy into this space on the left just dropping it down into one while he passes through they didn’t thank me never mind check center right mirror and Away you go okay so it’s continuing again up to 20 in between the speed bumps just easing off my gas there just before the hump here we go just increase again in between right so like I said 20 mph in between the humps just ease off your gas a few seconds before you’re there about 15 mph and just increase again in between keeping Vigilant here that something could pop out from between or behind or uh sort of pedestrian wise carwise out of behind any of these part Vehicles right so it’s coming up to the end of the road now you’ll notice there’s a 30 sign just on the left there I’m going to turn left so Center left mirror indicate down just got this gentleman just on the left it looks like just going to wander onto the road and just pausing a second just to see what he does the road on the right is clear he’s still on the road though there might be able to just see him coming into shot now there he is so it’s a bit unsure he was going to go going AC cross there so just thought I’d just pause and wait he was actually on the road rather than just on the pavement so it was always that Jeopardy right looks clear on the right now easy my way out so remember it set it at 30 mph this road if look at this uphill I’ve got speed bumps so what I’m going to do I’m not going to bothered if I go a little bit above 20 just doing 22 there but I’m going to keep it in the lower gear gear two just gives me an extra bit of power up this hill I’ll just use the hill as a break before each speed bump so just going to go over one there we go just increase a little bit of speed again so good idea in a hill it’s fairly steady and steep it’s getting a bit steeper now so just sticking into a lower gear just helps the car just get up that hill a little bit more if you go into gear three here the revs will drop really low the car would sort of judder a little bit as you CH go up you might struggle for a bit of power to get it up the hill right I’m going to turn right at this giveway Junction so center right mirror okay right most count Le just got it hazards on must have some kind of problem all right so the car ahead is going straight so I’m just going to wait for them to go cuz I’m crossing their path just looking both right and left couple of cars coming there’s a gap there yeah so the black bands gone now I’ve got a white van just on the right hand side that I need to wait for oh it’s indicated right yeah I can move off there so again no 20 signs coming onto this road but again it’s got speed bumps all right so with this one because it’s a bit flatter I will go to gear three just doing 23 M hour at the moment just going to ease off my gas just before I go for the speed bump around about 20 then just increase a little bit in between so clearly all the must have had a problem with speeding with possibly over the years so they just put these speed bumps in to try and prevent people from going sort of at least above 30 and then they’ll have to slow down for each speed bump same again there right n look ahead the road looks like it’s getting a bit bit thinner there’s a few more part Vehicles so I’ve just come off my gas there check my central mirror just bed it down into gear 2 just below 20 mph cuz it looks a bit narrow now white van on coming doesn’t look like there’s loads of space I’m just going to just hold back slightly for this van just than there check my center right mirror and just move around yeah I’ve got all this road to myself now so it’s just easy just to let that person go right I’m going to stick in gear two now cuz it’s a bit narrow this road I’m just passing a school on the left hand side as well uh this is lever Edge Lane in case you don’t know the area right so down at the bottom going to turn right this will turn right onto Morris Green Lane again no there no speed signs as well so it’s still a 30 mph so center right mirror okay up now it can be quite tight this road I’m just going to stick a bit closer to the curve on the left here just for the people turning in can be quite a tight turn that if you’re coming in from the other direction yeah looks clear both ways y all fine stick a bit more to the middle just get past that van I can just B back onto my side now now it’s appeared in my left mirror right I’m going to take this next left here takes me on to sapling road now this can be quite a tight turn as well all right a low gear two just wait for your turn and it’s one of them just got to sharpen up your turn a little bit more as you coming in now there’s a 20 sign just on the left I don’t if the video spotted it there it’s quite a hard one to pick up cuz it’s just next to the railings and on the near the trees on the left you know it’s a 20 though cuz it looks residential lots of P vehicles and if you notice just on the left there there’s a small What’s called the reminder 20 sign if you can just see just going past it there all right so Center left mirror notice that b was a little bit wide but kind of got out and back straight again before I got there I just eased off and check my ril though just in case right so it’s double par cars but you notice most the parch vehicles are half on the curb here so it generally does sometimes leave room for an oncoming car and yourself if you’re unsure about the space so obviously just best just to hold back and wait no use in taking the risk really a lot of people struggle uh not struggle sorry a lot of people fail for that because they maybe don’t want the examiner to think they’re being uh sort of hesitant okay right going to turn left a notice the 30 signs so Center left mirror signal up down this takes us into onto sm’s Lane okay it’s a little bit uphill got a white van just on the right after that looks okay didn’t break there just set my gas of biting point right so it’s uphill give it a bit an extra power before you kick it into the next gear said 30 okay so I’m right up at 30 mph on the uphill now it can get a bit narrow this road it’s kind of semi- rural all of a sudden you feel like you’re transported into a rural sort of area here so so it’s one of them where it’s getting a bit narrow now so just come off my gas a touch cuz it’s downhill so it’s probably best to go just below 30 here I’m doing about 27 at the moment but I’m not actually on my accelerator at all I’m just hovering over my brake just covering it just covering my clutch as well in case I need to slow down and drop the gear right it’s a little bit less steep now it’s a bit more flowing my speeds Dro naturally to to 26 M hour again I didn’t touch anything there it just naturally got to that speed okay right I can see there’s a giveway junction down at the end I’m going to turn left right now for this section now I’m going to follow a number of road signs so on you test you could be following some road signs or a satnav for this section I’m going to show you some of the signs so the first sign I’m going to follow once I’ve turned out of here is going to be for the m61 looks clear yep that’s fine right so you’ll notice the sign just coming up on on the left hand side says farmworth is ahead but m61 and W in A6 is right so I’m going to check my center right mirror indicate found now just on the approach just shiming my position just over to the right hand line notice it’s quite narrow here so I’m trying to leave some space for a car to pass on the inside okay they could use notice there’s a cycle L doed line cycle L on the left so the cars behind can use that if they want to basically maneuver around a car that’s waiting to turn right so look at the light on the other side there’s no Arrow so I’m just rolling into middle but there’s a gap there we go so I don’t need an arrow it’s called a filter Arrow to go if there’s a space just go I just rolled into the middle and just waited until those oncoming vehicles have passed through just right so again downhill don’t use much acceleration right now the sign we’re going to falling out is for walked in as6 notice the 40 signs I’m going to go to four but notice the car has ahead of me a breaking just before the bend and there’s a roundout sign on the left so it says ahead second exit right now it’s a traffic light controlled roundabout and you can actually use both lanes to go ahead so unless they say anything pick the left lane to go ahead traffic lights on green so I know traffic on the right is on red right so I’m aiming for that little stretch of grass and that curb just on the left hand side there it is now I’ve gone past the first exit so at this point you can see the red lights just coming up here so I know the next exit is for walk in okay there’s the lights okay so at this point you can probably just do a quick mirror signal to the left just to confirm to anyone around that you are definitely exiting but then the next one I’m going to turn right so I’m going to signal right check my right blind but see if you can see the sign just on the left there no you can’t see that it says West hon Lee and addon so it’s right third Exit B it down to two yep that’s all clear right so one exit on the left there second exit just coming up there so at this point check my Center left mirror signal down and the next exit you just see there West ort Lee another two so remember it was 40 mph there’s a reminder sign just on the lamp post on the left there little 40 sign right so I’m up to gear four now at 40 got some trucks on my left my center right mirror and nudge out yeah so that last roundabout it can get a bit complicated um trust what the examiner says if the examiner advises you to use the left hand lane H sorry advises you to use the right hand lane use it because then they’re going to be getting you into that lane for the next Direction up ahead they what they’re doing is they know the road probably better than you so they’re trying to plan ahead for you but if you don’t say anything just use the left lane to go ahead cuz that is the normal driving lane to go ahead unless it clearly says left only on the lanes which at that roundabout it did not okay well that makes sense so keeping up at 40 mph so we’re on sford road here so I’m approaching a set of traffic lights here this is a little set of traffic lights known locally as four lane ends I’m going to continue following where it says West hon and Wigan if you notice is ahead Le addon to the left and Bolton to the right so just sticking in this left l just behind the van I’m going for gear four to gear two just come off my clutch just seeing if the van starts to move it is we look at the traffic lights have gone back to red when you behind a big truck like this it’s better to stay around about a car length or so back if I stay here just don’t really picked up on the camera if I lean a little bit to the left I can actually see the traffic like just to the left of this big truck I’ve left a nice big gap there because I can’t see over the top definitely can’t see see through so I can see around it uh by holding back okay just gone red and Amber the traffic lights set my gas and biting point there you can see that green light now just keeping back just to allow the truck oh gosh that was a quick change so the trucks come through all right so at least I’ve got a full view now just roll up to the lights never even had a chance to get out of gear one there so while you’re at Red traffic lights good idea just to keep an eye on who’s moving and who’s not you can sometimes see some of the traffic lights for the traffic moving from the right and the left if you look closely so for example that P on the other side called the Holton arms I can see the traffic light might just pick it up on the camera I can see it on green at the bottom I can just about see the reflection on you know like the outer casing around the actual traffic light itself at the bottom so I’ll tell you when it goes to Amber and red if the camera doesn’t pick it up so it’s just gone Amber now it’s just gone red no that’s why they’re clearing I think opposite has a filter here I think they’ll move before me yep you see the traffic opposite is moving so I know I’m next so if you’re not in gear one already you’d pop it into gear one could maybe just start playing around with the gas there it is and off we go so notice there’s no change of speed limit signs just looking for a reminder 40 yeah there’s one on the left lamp post and the right lamp post if you look just left and right there okay so building must be back up towards 40 this has now become Manchester Road this leads you down to a roundabout called Checker bent roundabout it’s quite a large roundabout quite notorious in the area it’s quite tricky um for Learners who have never been here before I generally have to do a lot of talk through through with this my Learners come here for the first time not quite sure what this tax is doing if it’s par it’s indicating there now ping in so just check my center right mirror just give it a bit of space there we go just build my speed back up towards 40 m an hour this is a cycle Lane on the left just ends temporarily because of the island so you just nudge a little bit to the left then the cycle Lane starts again so knit to the right started to rain even though the lovely blue skies on the camera just pop my wipers up to the intermittent setting cuz it’s only light at the moment supp port every 5 to 10 seconds just show The Examiner you are looking at the central mirror in particular just but basically just move your head just lift your chin Bob your head up and to make sure you’re looking at the mirror every 5 to 10 seconds so if you notice a few PCH vehicles coming up just got the gentleman just overhead on the left just opening his back van door just going to give an extra bit of space for him we’ve also got the blue truck ahead if you notice got his hazards on just check my centor right and move out R it’s a bit different today notice the road work sign just on the left notice the cones in the right hand lane so ordinarily here there’s a sign back there that said Bolton m61 so you normally it’s right exit number three but if you noce with the cones I’m going to have to use the left so you would use the right hand lane if the cones weren’t there right so I’m still going to send to right mirror and signal to the right looking to the right a couple of times let’s see if we clear yes so I’m going to go all the way to the inside Lane just next to the curb and the grass it’s important you get up to gear three on this TR about is quite large right so come off third exit so there’s exit one on the left coming up exit number two right now at this point check your Center left mirror and your left blind spot indicate left and if the left Lane’s clear just drift over to the left hand lane over towards the curve if it isn’t if you notice it’s a two laner so I could have just stayed in that right hand lane if the left lane was basically busy with other cars all right so it’s important you check your mirrors in your left blind spot and move to the left if clear but if not St in the right hand lane then once you got into this road get up to 40 mph then just pop an indicator on the left again to ask the question of getting back into this left hand lane right I’m going to follow Bolton a58 which if you see the sign is ahead second exit right so I’m at gear four so what I’m going to do is I’m going to slow down to get my revs down to a th000 going to skip gear three just four to two slowly off my clutch look right in ahead alternately looks clear on the right yep all good so I’m aiming for that look at that road work sign there that curb on the left soon as I gone past notice there there’s a a lane so’s a lane shot on the right hand side up ahead Center left mirror and indicate left wonder where this Lane is cuz both lanes look free to me let see if there’s something around the corner no noce there is cones there but no they’re on the other side of the road now oh well so looks like they need to take that sign down really it’s been a little bit misleading so that sign basically said the right lane up ahead out a blockage in it I was going to stay in the left anyway well yeah just bear in mind right still 40 mph on this road no it’s is it’s still quite residential so some some of my Learners when I come down here are quite surprised that it’s still a 40 mph road but it is cuz there are numerous reminder signs on the lamp post there’s been no big 30 signs here when you get to change the speed limit sign it’s generally quite a large sign right common mistake what happens here the road is going to split to two lanes now if I stay positioned where I am I’d be in the right hand lane but notice the cycle Lane disappearing so what you do then is you move to the left we always move to the left that’s the normal driving lane you’d only stay in the right hand lane if you’d have in some kind of instruction to turn right if the examiner told you to stay in that right hand lane or if there was some kind of obstruction in the left hand lane or there was a big not big sorry like a slow moving vehicle in the left hand lane right so again I’ve waited till the th000 revs 4 to2 another thing sometimes people do here is they actually block the entrance and the exit to the garage just on the left here when they’re in a que CU you notice there’s no markings on the floor to tell you to keep it clear or some box Junction markings right so just going to carry on ahead the sign was for the Town Center which was just about there so still 4 mph there’s no signs to tell me anything different yet notice the right hand lane is merging in Back to the left here C front’s turning so just check me mirror tap me brake just drop down to two there we go that’ll give me a little bit of Greater acceleration to come now right now what they do now is they ask you to take the second road on the right okay so the first Road’s just there so check my center right mirror and indicate right is that road just coming up where the white band’s coming out of so you’re trying to move into the markings like so over to the right swing it back to the left and then straighten up notice my signal cancelled looking into the new road ra I’m waiting it’s a 20 mph Road this one just might just see the sign coming in there there we go I was going to pull up and park on left if you notice there once had one of my students get asked to park here I remember sitting in the back thinking it’s not the most ideal of spots here so if you think about parking here I’m on a bit of an incline but I’m basically I’m close that Junction on the left and then we’re also on this Bend here with other cars coming away now I thought there would have been an issue really with him parking here but the examiner actually didn’t mention it right so all the do when you pull up and park on the left again they’ll just say yep thank you just drive on again when you’re ready so I’m back into gear one a couple of cars behind me I’ve got a white one and a red one just going to wait for the red one to go past it looks clear afterwards right quick indicator right check my right blind spot then off and go right now on this road they sometimes ask you to do one of the Maneuvers so if you noticed there’s a car there Sil um a sort of turquoisey colored car there sometimes ask you to do the parallel part there so they’ll Park you up on the left hand side um and then ask you to do the parallel but I’m going to do the pull up on the right so I’m going to indicate right check my right line spot I’m going to move over and get parts just after this lowered curb here we bringing it around parallel and then stop there all right so pull up on the park pull up on the right sorry so at this point you’d lower your right hand mirror touch just to give you distance in the curb there’s any angle yeah I look quite close and straight so I’m not going to do any steering Bob it in reverse check over your right to left blind spot looks okay and start rolling okay right mirror okay looks ahead look over your left and right blind spot again still fine looking ahead’s fine back to my mirror yeah that’s fine again over my left and right blind spot notice I’m not waiting for the cars on the other side of the road that are traveling there looks okay right got this looks like a small Coach coming so I’m just going to pause and just stop there briefly just while they’re passing me just check my right and left blind spot okay just in case they wanted to pull up behind me or anything okay y looks clear start going back again back again back again and I’ll probably stop around about there that’s about two car reps right hand breing neutral remember to put your mirror back to how it was previously like so all right right before you drive off check your right to left blind spot looks okay don’t think I need a signal no nothing around check your left blind spot again as you drive off we go looks like it start raining for now just going to turn those wipers off right so if you notice there’s a van waiting to come through I’m just going to shoot me a little bit closer to the left just going to hold back just to allow the white van a little bit of space to come through so we know it’s while I’m waiting you probably see the 30 signs just coming up at the end of this [Music] road so I’m just holding back here because if I went any further forward I’d just be trying to restricting that space for the oncoming Vehicles what with the white van Parts on the right and obviously the row of par vehicles on the left so I’ll just need to I’ll probably wait for at least two two of those cars in front of me to to move a bit further forward before I commit to that space so they’ve moved a little bit yeah I’ll still just hold on here in case something quite large comes in I mean not talking the van really the van’s relatively large but there’s anything a bit bigger than that they might struggle with that space so I’ll just wait until they move one more vehicle ahead in the queue and then I’ll move forwards okay there’s one vehicle turning out yeah check my Center on my right mirror nothing going on there right and I’ll Just sh you forwards okay so I’m going to turn right turn the center right mirror so I know it’s 30 m hour once it roll onto this road just keep rolling up to the giveway check right left we can see a car just coming from the left just hold back there’s a couple actually one on the right as well looks clear yeah set my gas yeah off I go right now this is another R usually catches people out it’s got this on an uphill look there’s a mini roundabout there look at the blue sign so off gas look ahead and to the right was carrying on ahead yeah all good right but then if you notice there is another one now this one’s a bit easy see cuz you can see the markings on the downhill the blue signs just on the left so B back down into gear two two and give way to anyone from the right who wasn’t turning left yep all clear right I’m going to pull up and park on the left hand side going to indicate car behind now you can park in the dotted line cycle Lane there’s no restrictions on that just try and make sure you’re not blocking any driveways there we go handbrake neutral cancel my signal then again they’ll say just pull off when again when you’re ready back into gear one left and right blind spot I’m going to indicate there’s a few cars on the road but it looks like I’m okay to go and then away I go yeah so a lot of people miss those two manyi roundabouts CU there’s no triangle warning sign for either particularly the first one it’s on an incl it’s but a bit of it’s like the top of a hill it’s called a blind Summit so if you don’t see the blue sign a lot of my Learners there just power through up to 30 m and hour and then now all roundabout here and they have to slow down quite late so obviously trying to avoid that on your driving test all right so this is on Halon Lane just to let you know so we’re going to turn left when we get up to the traffic lights some of my Learners here don’t notice the road that’s on the left hand side you got to delay your signal here just B it down into gear two for now moving it over just next to the cycle Lane all right now I’ll do my Center left mirror and Signal left cuz I’ve gone past that road that’s on the left hand side oh lights have changed no need for my handbrake just balancing my gas and biting point just check your Center left mirror again yep still no cyclist there gear two before a turn round we go right so this has took us onto St Helen’s Road quite a busy Main Road this one this is one where there is a bus lane which you can drive in between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday so it’s quarter p 2 so I’m going to drive in this bus lane at the moment so you’ll notice I’m probably the only one in the bus lane there’s a car ahead in the right in Lane the black one which could drive in this Lane but hasn’t right going to keep an eye all the bit of an obstruction there you know so I’m just going to indicate right just to pull a little bit out just check my blind spot again blue car there didn’t seem too willing but I no option there indicated and moved out nice and early so yeah sometimes what you get in here you have to drive in this bus lane because it’s an operation it’s a non-operational bus lane at this time so basically it’s a two-lane road two lane road you’re driving the left right we got to look for obstructions in this left hand lane there sometimes lot people down here because you can see here there’s a lot of people Parts going into these shops in the corner right so the end of the bus Lane’s just coming up here no it’s a solid line there just disappearing so anyone in the right lane now would have to merge back into the left hand lane bit worried that por is going to try and cut me up there but they’re actually in that lane to turn right so so I’ll let them off right so notice here they’re doing a bit of resurfacing down here at the moment if you notice right so what I’m going to do I’m just going to indicate right and just move into this right turn lane I’m just going to change the route slightly because there’s a lot of Road Works going ahead so I’m going to turn right at these traffic lights didn’t really want to be as close as I am to this car here I’m just going to change the route though just because they’re doing some reserving up ahead must be some temporary traffic lights so yeah that lane that goes ahead normally goes ahead um and then a bit further down you turn right to set of traffic lights so all I’m doing really I’m just trying to roll to the route which could happen on the driving test sometimes the examiners can change the route just just because the conditions on the road change right so I’m going to roll into middle there’s only I’m only the second car in the queue here so there’s normally room for a minimum two to roll into the middle so I need that car forward to move forward a little bit really it’s not really moving as far as it should do if turning right here you should really move forward enough to you get to the center so the vehicle behind has a clue that white one oh white fo car and the white van went through an Amber there not much really we could do so yeah it’s at that moment we had two cars go through an Amber so the problem there was we can’t go unless they stop the problem then was I’m presuming there was a couple of beeps there I’m presuming the cars on the left and right they’re obviously on green and they’re thinking oh come on clear the middle area but once we’d rolled into the middle our exit road on the right was perfectly clear so we were fine to wait there we always at the mercy of the other cars on the opposite side actually stopping on Amber when they should right but they didn’t in that moment that’s what caused that problem right Noti there’s nobody there the near or approaching the zebra Crossing at that time right there was no 20 signs coming in here but there’s a few part Vehicles I’m sticking around about the mid 20s this is Morris Green Lane might real remember we’re on this Lane before right now this left turn coming up compromises a lot of people on the test as well it’s not this one here it’s the next one here where that black and white ballad is now what I’d recommend with this one is just bobbing it down into one cuz it’s a bit of unsighted but it’s very tight as well just gives you more control coming into that corner so I’d recommend gear one uh so it’s a moris green Lane left turn turning into lever Edge Lane all right now there was no 20 sign coming in but it’s quite narrow at the moment with par vehicle so I’m just going to stick around about just doing 15 at the moment not quite sure what that white people carrier is doing there I’m just going to B it into one and just stop here just going to hold back till it’s done to see what space I’ve got right yeah looks okay now looks like we’ve got some space yeah it was just bit of a uh unorthodox parallel part that one it’s a good one all right so again I’m going to stick around about 20 mph for now even though there is no 20 signs for this road it’s just the conditions really so 30 members of the max but it’s not a Target you can’t always drive at the full speed limit just got to sometimes adapt what you think is appropriate at the time it’s most commonly a bit further down this road you can generally go a little bit quicker there’s a good few par Vehicles just move into the middle seeing if I think there’s some room looks a little bit tight actually I’ll just wait for the blue and the white one to come through yeah and center right yeah I considered going but again not worth taking the risk there it’s quite a common thing that people fail far in a driving test is meeting traffic situations like that where they either assume the other car is going to wait for them or they just take the chance of go oh yeah I’ll just risk that I’ll go through all right but if you have in that moment there it’s best just to r on the side of caution that’s what an examiner would prefer you to do right now while I was talking there I’ve actually now gone up to gear three just above 20 mph between 20 25 CU you know it’s now it’s a lot wider there’s not as many par vehicles used off a little bit for that speed bump there’s nobody at the zebra Crossing again just carry on so again there’s continual speed bumps on this road see is one there just going to break a touch just it’s downhill just off my brake before the speed bump now if I’m breaking actually on the foot brake while I’m going over that hump it can contribute to twisting the chassis on that brake so on most cars so try and avoid that if you can I got told that of one of my students actually who was training to be a mechanic so quite helpful bit of information okay now if you notice the road ahead suddenly I’ve got a lot more part vehicles on both sides if you notice both on the left and the right so what I’m going to do now I’m going to make it for me a 20 mph Zone even though there’s no sign so just drop my speed below 20 just drop down to gear two I’m just going to take me time here there’s increased risk here of a hidden danger pedestrian running out a door opening a car coming out of a side road Junction maybe a par vehicle all right notice that white van was indicating then it’s indicated right that’s a strange one oh yes it was backing up a little bit cuz it was part thought oh God you can see in my mirror it’s just pulled out right in front of the car that’s behind was behind me then yeah he was backing up cuz there was a vehicle in front cuz he then wanted to drive off right I’m going to turn left of this mini roundabout horrendous place for that post office Van to stop but it stopped head and right looks clear yep that’s fine so just turning left onto richon Lane here right so I’m not far from the driving test center now I’m very close to it okay there’s a white van a couple of vehicles ahead trying to do a parallel park here so I’m just going to just hold back for them to finish just pop my handbrake on while I’m waiting because I’m on a bit of an incline car’s just trying to drive off that one there yeah the van looks par now yep notice the bright lights have all come off on the cars in front I go right now it’s a road which goes quite steeply downhill from this point I’m in gear three at the moment but I’m completely off my gas pedal doing 22 mph right now I’m doing 24 not really touched the gas there that’s just the hill right now this is another one that people missed there’s a mini roundabout here look how it’s very well hidden markings aren’t great here but you can see the blue circular sign I’m down into two you carry on ahead and yeah looks clear cuz the car’s opposite aren’t turning right now you can shimy around most of that roundabout but the examiners not really too fussed if you go slightly over but I would try and go all the way if you can but always note there there’s that zebra Crossing just after so just keep a good eye to make sure there’s nobody coming out right so here’s the test center just diagonally to the right going to turn right at the mini roundabout it’s quite quite a queue going in so I’m not going to turn into the um driving test sensor just going to drive past it so you might just see it just on the left hand side there there we go so all you do is there is turn left into the driving test center and because I’ve already done my pull-up on the right maneuver on the driving test I wouldn’t have to do a reverse Bay in there I’ll just go forward into a bay and
