Who are We?
Celeste grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and I in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. We started dating at Penn State in 2011. We got engaged at the end of 2017, married in 2019, and we both love seeing new places, meeting new people, and having new experiences.
I started this channel back in my college years so if you go back far enough there is a hodge-podge of “eclectic” videos for your entertainment. However, in the future I plan to focus mostly on our travel and vlog videos. ah roma this has to be one of my favorite cities look at this we’re walking back from our tour and this is the view that’s the Coliseum it’s the amphitheater absolutely [Music] crazy day six here first second day in room we’re about to go for a bike tour and we’re right I’m looking at the Coliseum right now which is amazing my throat is a little bit sore I’m getting over October Fest still lost my voice I think I have a little bit of of a bug not not too bad though we’re doing a bike tour today going to see almost all of Rome and I’m going to let Celeste do some of the talking today we’re walking to get coffee see you in a bit put with a view there you go little vitamin C yeah with the OJ squeezed got a delicious croissant here jelly field true Italian flag with the green tomato the green tomato capraz sandwich heated up toasted that place is called cue cuy bar c i u r i c i u r i bar great little restaurant get your morning coffee and like just some small bikes before a bike ride we’re starting our bike tour here here’s a little like bike area and we going we uh banging selfie here out front Okay I think we’re coming up to the Coliseum ahead all I know get older so let us Dan this is cool man can’t believe it’s just right there the Coliseum so it was named the Coliseum because of Nero and his Colossus statue that was here was like I don’t know 50 ft tall or something like that but AA has two sides like the amphibian it was like the Greek Theater but two-sided Greek theaters only have one side get away get away from the drinks and chatter there she is lelie having fun yes it’s a beautiful weather today beautiful architecture we enjoy know enjoy it know see live your life within the moment moment 1900 years old so I think cheers I think one interesting part fact that we’ve learned so far is the Coliseum was built in just 8 years and the building we were just at took 50 years to construct it was a newer building kind of [Music] amazing all right so we’re at Trevy trvy Fountain right here we’re going to en en jooy we a little stop on our tour CEST what do you think Inc wow so there’s two two horses to represent the sea there’s one on the right which is calm represent calm seas one on the left is wild represent the wild Seas this is extremely busy tourist spot oh my gosh all right so there are approximately 4,000 coins that are thrown in here day and you’re supposed to take your coin and throw it from your with your right hand over your heart behind your left shoulder like that that’s the good luck Pro uh yeah so I think it was like 4,000 coins per day something like $1.1 million a year or something like that it all goes to charity so throw your coins in people it’s pretty cool all right back to our tour we go it’s just amazing this thing is right in the middle of the city here I think he said it has something like thousands and thousands of gallons of water go through this Fountain every single day from the from the new aqueduct in [Music] Rome all right this is busy and these are the steps I believe that we’re coming up to here had a lot of money and we need that money we can Fountain here that’s commemorating the flood of the tyer river there’s sunken boat here and then our guide was also saying so this is Spanish Steps as pretty much everybody knows them but there’s Spanish embassies Spanish embassies over there but it’s actually the French who build it and the French call it the French Steps or just the steps and there’s actually a ferti on the uh on the balls there right at the beginning of it right at the beginning of the uh steps there you go this water he said is filtered from the chubby Fountain like underground tunnel system to come out here okay yes you can drink it you can drink it and so the pope and the firemen always there remember so that’s the immaculate that’s St Mary Immaculate Conception the Immaculate Conception we’re moving away from the Spanish Steps now and now we’re heading down this street which is where all the artists um it’s like kind of like an artist Street the arti used to live when this wasn’t quite as nice of an area and all the models would go to uh the Spanish deps or the French chefs if you’re French um because they evidently built it and um you would they would paint the beautiful women I think we just found Celeste best like favorite store of all time that it would be pizza and gelato her two favorite things well and [Music] pasta so many beautiful areas in Rome and streets and avenues found a little Lake Little [Music] Pond for about half a mile that direction uh even more than half a mile and filled also with beautiful little uh little Temple so this is 2,200 years old the statue inside of this Temple smoothie here at this little bar here I got two carrots an apple and orange orange ginger all right oh that is perfect that is just perfect okay so celest had a nice little espresso I had a nice little chti fruga uh chti fuga D fruta which is like a little fruit cuge is what it kind of means not a smoothie because the uh all the pulp and the fiber is G just like a little fruit juice but it was really good um so we are on to the next location now you coming up wow I need [Music] my we’re back on the road again now I’m from to there’s no I’m [Music] chasing Coro and Egyptian obelisk here this thing is 3,000 years old [Music] wow yeah I L you but I need I feel like we shouldn’t be in here like all these people back here eating sandwiches Alano vieno and there was a line of at least like 100 people it was absolutely insane mecy all right and look where we ended up SL said what a let down yesterday with those columns of 14 me about is it 50 ft high they came me one Feast from [Music] Egypt off my now lost you we’re walking through more of a back area where the tourists aren’t kind of where the Romans eat and live and spend their time more [Music] so enjoy a nice little lunch here midpoint of our bike to that nice what is one is this it has like red sauce with pork cheese oh yeah bellies are full after eating at Tratoria FES now we’re back on I think we’re going to go to see Vatican here shortly all right we are back on [Music] theour going across the Angels bridge now [Music] here you there it is all right this is the real view here can’t believe we’re freaking I can’t believe we’re here this is amazing we made [Music] it once you step over the white line here you’re in Vatican City the smallest country in the world yali Vatican City all right that’s going to be a it’s a quick little trip here to Vatican City and now we’re on to the next [Music] stop so this wall there are wild Capers growing that you can pick and eat wild Capers growing no big deal H how we’re just conquering this hill with one hand on my bike in one gear not sure really short of breath well maybe maybe a little I feel a little bit but my gosh oh look more Capers so so easy it’s insane back on the road again go I’m just gliding down this hill on this electric bike thinking how much of an amazing day this is the weather is beautiful the scenery is beautiful it’s just been an awesome experience [Music] overall going across the Tyber River here this is the Tyber Island and basically what happened here is if you were sick and you came to Rome you had to quarantine for 40 days and that’s where the word quarantine came from from 40 [Music] this has the mouth of Truth in here oh jeez you don’t like somebody you can also [Music] [Music] uh our tour guide was saying that the other side of this building used to be the main entrance but then St Peters came around and said nope we need to change it to the front on this side so it faes St Peter’s Direction and that’s what you’re seeing right now behind me this is actually the uh like the city hall the town hall right now as well what a beautiful Square [Music] here wow thousand years old there you go we’re heading back toward the Coliseum where we started our tour and it’s gotten a lot busier actually [Music] wow and that’s about it for our tour turning the bikes absolutely incredible CL thank you so much ah roma this has to be one of my favorite cities I’ve only been here for maybe 2 days this city is amazing look at this we’re walking back from our tour and this is the view that’s the Coliseum it’s the amphitheater we’re standing right beside the Coliseum the amphitheater here we’re going to go get pizza pockets Chino at chest which is across the Tyber River and then we’re also going to go to uh I’ll Antico vieno to get some sandwiches but Rome [Music] amazing quick thought as we walk by the Coliseum here is that bike tour that uh celestus are recommended to us was absolutely solid highly recommend that’s definitely like a 4.9 out of five on that tour cuz you get to see like everything you could never walk that in one day and see everything the biking tour is is fantastic you up you go up a decent amount of Hills so the electric bike is like it’s so addictive I think I’m going to have to get one now cuz it’s amazing I would definitely recommend I’ll put a link to the bike tour in this video and uh if it’s your first time in room check it out if it’s maybe you haven’t ever seen everything at one time check it out too cuz clous was amazing Valeria was great and um you learn a lot and you get to see all of it in one day it’s like a torta force all right see you tomorrow Coliseum we’ll see you on the tour ah gosh it’s stunning see you on the inside see you on the inside so there’s a little gathering for Ukraine here laava Ukraine is it just me or does this building like kind of feel like Washington DC this one to our left a little bit like Washington DC such an American thing to say [Music] though my first Italian super car we have a little red Ferrari there that went by um and then also it is kind of amazing to me that thanks is where musini announced that bil was going to uh join World War II kind of crazy a lot of history right here it’s neat oh it’s what the tourists love marketing all these actually not all of them but some restaurants have people making pasta in the window think that lady was making Yoku draws you right in gosh the city is [Music] beautiful all right we’re walking across one to again and we got grazed in the grass by this live [Music] band here we are we’re at Chino this is this is okay guys there you go this is amazed Amaze Aro amaz balls it’s not Aro though it’s called Uh Su uhhuh These are nice Buffalo mozzarella go is it warm looks good okay back across hono across the Tyber and we’re going to go Alano the ja ban again okay and we are back at the pantheon right next to Alano [Music] vieno all right right so we are going over here to find the restaurant all right so we’re just getting in line now the people that the most recent people that got their food I asked them they said they just got their food in 50 minutes but the line now is longer 5 Z 5 yeah all we’re actually getting [Music] in that’s thei and just like and so it took us about 40 minutes to get those sandwiches actually not too bad we’re going to go eat them now beside the pantheon cuz why not the city’s crazy just going to go eat our sandwiches by the pantheon with opera singing in the background amazing all right let’s see what all this hype is about about the sandwich you got to go first I mean I guess you got let’s take a look at [Music] it this is the tartufo 4 all right see the Pito is really good Pito is really good it’s like peppery peppery all right well going me try so all right ready ready oh you needed a jelly bger bite so many flavors wa it’s like garlicky oniony pepper p i mean the pjo alone is fantastic I don’t know if it knocks my socks off this one doesn’t knock my socks off no I thought it was going to be better not like creamy as I thought it would be like cheesy yeah thought it was going to be more cheese I think it this an 88 out of 10 what are you eating the vegetarian one vegetarian this is vegetariano 2 right mhm what does it have in it like pistachio pesto trachella dried tomato oh that looks amazing Italian flag all over my face there you go oh okay that’s to good all right can we be done all right I’m going to give this this is like a 92 out of 10 yeah definitely oh one sco of gelato all right we can go get some gelada if you want it here we come up [Music] to all right we’re got aella and we’re going to pick some gelato here so let’s have to pick her [Music] flavor [Music] oh uhoh looks good look at that turn it’s cool in here huh cute so cute oh my God so Celeste wanted to get what was it caramelized I was like don’t get that you’re not going to like it it’s so good it’s delicious yeah and then the Nutella Nutella the dark look at it oh my God so creamy it’s unreal it’s better than like it’s better than Nutella yeah oh my God can we get another one holy moly all right this place gets a high review this is a 49 oh my God although the lady that we paid was very grumpy that’s tellor many flavors but the guy but the guy was really friendly they gave us a chy yeah right like all right so this place is definitely getting a 49 because the value is the same too the two scoop yeah well this was $3 small the three3 to $3 yeah3 in America we you like $6 6 or seven at least yeah and it’s not even nearly as good no that tell might be some of the best like dessert I have ever had it’s incredible oh yeah how do you describe it it’s like a melted brownie like a melted Nutella brownie it’s amazing so good all right that’s that’s enough of joli that’s enough of day two yeah we’ll see you in the morning we have a uh Coliseum tour Pantheon tour and a photo shoot tomorrow so we will see you then good night we’re rushing to get to our tour of the Coliseum this morning kind of amazing this road is from the first century BC that we’re walking on right now crazy there it is [Music] sitting here just enjoying this view of the uh Coliseum [Music] am so glad we got to come this is one of my favorite buildings of all time so neat to be in here it also blows my mind that these columns are literally one giant piece of granite
