ME versus Baltic Sea! Arrrooooo! 🐺SCHÖN travels by bike through the history of the world! I have ventured into the outdoor adventure and turned my life upside down. So I have immediately taken a big travel project for my first long bike ride – the Baltic Sea.
Together with my bike Bergamont (rest in peace), which was equipped with bike bags from Vaude, I threw myself alone into the unknown adventure. With a few exceptions, I only spend the night in nature. Cooking, making fire, discovering new landscapes and places and meeting new people make up my existence.

Why the trip around the Baltic Sea? 💋
Because I wanted to manage alone and no longer make my plans in life dependent on other people. Likewise, like in the movie Into the Wild, I wanted to get to know myself better, old fears in the middle of a punch in the face, demons in the head off the gar and simply experience something new every day and break out of the boring comfort zone. This was like a battle for me and is one reason why Braveheart with Mel Gibson is one of my favorite movies. Freedom of spirit is the highest form of man. And that’s where I want to go.
What countries has your bickepacking tour taken you to? 💋
Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. I avoided Kaliningrad and Saint Petersburg because of the war in Ukraine and international political tension.
I partly rode the Eurovelo 10 and the Greenvelo in Poland. Of course, I also rode on other bike routes like official coastal bike routes. There are no route details because I simply say that everyone should create their own adventure and tempt fate with a big smile. I worked with Google Maps and used country-specific apps to find fireplaces and places to stay overnight, for example. Arrrooooooo! 🐺
What is important to me when traveling? 💋
Time. Screw miles. Fuck performance. I want to be able to experience and tell stories and not race through the countryside like others to brag about it and get respect from others for the performance achieved. I want to stage myself as little as possible and just be who I am. And I can live well with not pleasing many, like even my own ex-mother. I am proud of my values and don’t need recognition from anyone. Because only I know what I have done and only I know how many do nothing in their lives. That is quite enough for me.
Also, vegan food is important to me because animals are my friends. I also try to get by with as little canned energy as possible. I also want to motivate other people to overcome the limits of their mind and to go on more journeys themselves. Role model function? Definitely fun! Arrrooooooo! 🐺

I’ve never had a car before. I have never flown. I like to play on the computer or on the Nintendo Switch sometimes when I’m out in nature. I’m originally from Saxony, which you might hear sometimes. Due to an emotionally difficult childhood, I no longer have contact with my family. That’s why I’m also called lone wolf, whereby loneliness is not to be understood negatively, but expresses the desire to be able to go through life alone and independently.

Ja, hier bin ich. Und es ist alles etwas anders gekommen. Weil ich immer das Glück habe, dass die Sachen immer kaputt gehen, wenn Wochenende ist. Das war beim Fahrradständer so, den ich immer noch nicht repariert habe. Jetzt bin ich in Danzig und hoffe hier irgendein Fahrradladen zu finden, der so einen Fahrradständer hat. Weil der eine Typ aus der Fahrradwerkstatt hat mir gesagt, in diesem Vorort von Danzig, dass es Bergamont-Fahrradständer ist. Was spezielles sozusagen. Ich hoffe nicht, dass es was spezielles ist. Ich hoffe, dass ich hier einen Fahrradständer bekommen werde. Ja, und am Montag, also wir haben heute Samstag und puren Sonnenschein, und am Montag… Und ich bin jetzt übrigens auf einem Campingplatz. Ich weiß, ich rede hier gerade etwas durcheinander. Erstmal sortieren. Ich bin auf einem Campingplatz wie ihr sehen könnt. Das ist ein Campingplatz, der mit der stadtnaheste Campingplatz ist. Also man hat es nicht mehr weit in die Innenstadt. Deswegen habe ich den genommen. Ich habe jetzt 30 Euro bezahlt von Samstag bis Dienstag. Finde ich.. 30 Euro. Was sind 30 Euro, um in einer Großstadt zu übernachten. Also ein super Preis finde ich. Kann ich mich jetzt nicht beschweren. Und.. Ja, ich habe hier schon mein Zelt aufgebaut und mein Solarpanel aktiviert. Bin jetzt auch wieder dabei weiterhin mein Powerbanks mit Sonnenenergie zu laden. ja, und dann habe ich heute schon durch den Zug und durch die Sonne schon gut Energie gezapft. Und gestern habe ich auch schon gut geladen. Das hat sich auf jedenfall schon gelohnt. Der Campingplatz ist ziemlich voll. Muss man schon sagen. Gut, iost halt Juni. Die Saison geht langsam los. Der Strand ist hier gleich in der Nähe. Man hat es wirklich nicht weit bis zum Strand. Das heißt, ich werde nachher noch an den Strand gehen. Und ich weiß noch nicht, ob ich baden gehen werde. Eventuell gehe ich noch ein Runde baden. Ja, was gibt es heute noch zu essen? Ich habe heute Nudeln gekocht. Und war vorhins noch einem Zabka einkaufen. Was übersetzt "Fröschlein" heißt oder "Frosch". Das sind so Läden, die es in Polen überall gibt. Und die haben auch ein gutes Sortiment irgendwie gefühlt. Auch wenn der Laden recht klein ist. Und da habe ich mir Räuchertofu noch geholt. Oliven hatte ich noch. Ja, viele Kräuter, Gewürzbrühe und so. Voll gut. Ich freue mich schon, wenn das Essen durchgezogen ist. Und dann werde ich das genießen und essen. Guten Morgen aus Danzig. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen, obwohl ich ein paar Stadtgeräusche gehört hatte. So verschiedenste Geräusche. Aber da man weiß, dass man hier ziemlich sicher ist auf dem Platz, schläft man trotzdem sehr gut. Ich habe jetzt meine Wäscheleine gespannt mit Paracord. Ich zeige es euch mal. Genau. Das erste was ich heute noch machen wollte, ist Wäsche waschen. Die schon mal aufhängen. Und dann mache ich mich nachher frisch. Und dann werde ich in die Stadt Danzig unterwegs sein. Genau. Das ist heute der Plan. Deswegen werde ich heute auch nochmal die GoPro nochmal laden. Und den Ersatzakku nochmal zu laden. Wer weiß wie viel ich da heute nochmal filmen werde. Ich habe heute Lust zu filmen. Ich habe Lust die Stadt anzuschauen. Freue mich. Bin gehyped. Ja, Dexter. Du bist schnell. Du sollst nicht so schnell sein. Bist du ein feiner Kerl? Ging gut. Riecht gut. Rei in der Tube. Habe die Wäsche jetzt einmal durchgewaschen. Einmal mit warmen Wasser. Und dieser Rei in der Tube. Und danach mit kaltem Wasser alles ausgespült. Jetzt hänge ich die Wäsche auf. Dann mache ich mich noch fertig und dann gehts los. Also ich kann Rei in der Tube empfehlen. Hat funktioniert.
