So I got this PNW Components rain jacket – https://www.pnwcomponents.com/products/lander-jacket
Its a nice piece and is a nice wind breaker or light warmth adder, however it doesn't do really great in the rain. If its more than the lightest drizzle it wears through pretty quick.
I walked the dog today in a moderate rain and after about 30 minutes it was starting to soak through.
Is this meant to be used in proper rain, or should I look at a real rain jacket? I was looking to pick up a Patagonia rain jacket for all around use (hike, bike, city) Men's Torrentshell 3L Rain Jacket.
Is that the right approach?
