all right I was ready to get completely smoked today by Rachel Atherton but she decided not to come because I think she’s just smart enough to focus on her win this Saturday which would make it a perfect World Cup season for her and I totally respect that good on you Rachel so the guy jumping in for her is world champion loic bruni hello he was on a last-minute call he became world champion on this track last year we got something special for you today because we’re going to be riding on one bike together we got this wrong the baddest idea so okay we have to be good man well you have to be I just have to trust you fly Oh what is this we go slow we go slow are you ready yeah okay but let’s not pedal let’s just no stop okay underwear ah no no no this is way too scary hey what is this what is this what oh all right okay you smell dude oh well you’re not clearing it way too gnarly I don’t want to do this what you’re a chicken I’m a chicken I’m I’m a chicken bro yeah okay let’s get our bikes then all right are you ready oh good in you Youth better be let’s go okay and you know use your excuses coming out of a chat bag haven’t slept at all last night which to give him a chance to pull him pull away from me good thing though we have a mellow section to start with so I can kind of wake up why could you is on fire apparently so I’m really proud to be in front of him or they close this again Wow first little break and almost crashed already you better focus Claudia stay on your back leg just like what you say to me all the time how can you be out of control on such a mellow section and how can you be out of breath already cloud you what’s wrong with you alright it’s getting a little steeper now and he’s already taking full on race lines and gone here’s wait lauric Loic hopefully coming onto that jump is it to jump but not easy to get there thanks for waiting like you can pin it again lots of small line choices up here not a big difference in lines but a big difference in speed so first really steep section lots of ruts from last year’s race like knows them all and pins it and I’m having a hard time staying with him Wow whew thank you and I know what’s coming now it’s the jumps are you ready for the jumps a bit anxious Oh almost came up short and he’s styling it up I did my 1 in 40 masters I’m really happy well I’m not that slow Loic you can go a little faster then nice bear now we’ve got lots of friends on the track here trying to mess it up for us whoa whoa whoa whoa I should have written their bank appeal I almost went into that tree he’s not on there on the idea line there but he is there but I’m not okay pants are starting to pump he’s gotta wait for me again are you ready bro I’m ready my face bro some really awkward whoops coming flow they’re not that awkward for him cleared them easy the [ __ ] has raised up they rocked a lot on this track oh man a jumps going into nowhere certainly not into where I wanted to go up that’s where G crash last year pretty sketchy oh he knows better way to go than I do aah are you alive bro okay we’re getting into the steeper section from now on track is just gonna be steeper and steeper all the way I love this track it’s insane I do the [ __ ] here I don’t want to jump this it’s too sketchy ha I think that was my line was better there but still he pulls away from me slow down steepest section coming up that’s why I ran class last year with an extremely slippery bridge I crashed on it walking before off camber section and it’s dipper oh yeah yeah stayed on the bike stayed on the track whoo-hoo ah thanks like for showing me that wow I’m going to sideways just barely stayed on the bike but gone here’s again thanks for waiting ah just there no more broke waiting for the old man well how long is that gonna take huh need to go back to bed this section is sick just rats everywhere I might as well just lock up my rear wheel all the way to the finish line here hey little new corner coming up new section here wait wait I’d love any more brakes oi what are you doing my brain just blew out what’s up my brake just blow up your brakes are not used to go that slow my brake just died come on you can do it without the brake are you kidding me look at that how stupid is actually should I go along then I love you could you but I can’t follow you anymore I see you one day see you down there oh wow that’s something new for this year ha ha bye bye bye papa now I can go at my pace which is at least twice as fast you’re right ok deep ruts here stop talking like you’re not on there anymore stiffest finish ever but they smooth and it out for us here really nice so I can take that inside here now I got a man up though because we’ve got that big gap coming all right and then keep it low because otherwise you’re gonna go way Oh what is this no finish sprint for me today still working okay well I guess I smoked the world champion on on his winning track what’s that for for a winter’s to finish the World Cup season haha alright then it remains to tell you you’re gonna see this life on Saturday on Red Bull TV and I’m gonna celebrate my win now see ya you
