I saw THIS article today, so there is hope.
The people risking their lives are making progress to stabilize and make the roadway safe, and it sounds like they have a plan for non-convoy transits before the end of may.
And it sounds like at least some of the places to eat and stay are beginning to reopen. I have no word on when Pfieffer Big Sur and some of the other campgrounds on this side of Paul's Slide will reopen.
