My everyday commuter bike is a mid-tail electric cargo bike, with a 60kg capacity on the rear and 15kg capacity on the front. I mostly don’t use all that cargo carrying capability during my commute aside from strapping my work essentials to the hefty front rack, but it is very handy for days like yesterday when my wife asked me to pick up a bag of soil from the garden store on the way home, or stopping at the home improvement store or supermarket on the way home. And luckily my model is not too much larger than a standard non-cargo bike, so it’s usually not too much of a hassle to maneuver and park.
