I’m looking to replace a bike that recently got stolen. I mostly used it to do grocery shopping and sometimes commuting to work or just biking around San Francisco where I live. Priorities for me would be:

* Step through and maybe a bit “cute”, though I am tall at 6′.
* Preinstalled bike rack and fenders
* A large gear range and good brakes given how hilly sf is.

I’ve been looking at bikes like the [Public Bikes C7I](https://publicbikes.com/collections/step-through/products/public-c7i?_pos=5&_fid=a69a2ad66&_ss=c) , the [C9 Aluminum](https://publicbikes.com/collections/step-through/products/public-c9?_pos=4&_fid=a69a2ad66&_ss=c), and the [Franklin 8 Speed](https://www.brooklynbicycleco.com/collections/step-through-bikes/products/franklin-8?variant=39324398354512) though I’m debating if it’s worth upgrading to disk brakes even if it means going a bit over the budget.

Any suggestions?
