Hey guys, I’m pulling the trigger on bikes today for my wife and I. We’ve got her bike decided, but I am stuck in analysis paralysis for mine. It’s between:
1. [Poseidon Redwood Flat Bar](https://www.poseidonbike.com/products/flatbar-redwood?variant=41091788898455)
2. [State 4130 All-Road Flat Bar](https://www.statebicycle.com/collections/gravel-all-road-cross-off-road/products/4130-all-road-flat-bar-raw-phosphate-650b-700c)
3. [Marin DSX 1 Flat Bar](https://www.bikeexchange.com/a/gravel-bikes/marin/pa/shippensburg/dsx-1/250225544?variant_id=156186338&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0MexBhD3ARIsAEI3WHIykek8ifD2960szMN0ywLK6wGQcTqNtItZeT0A61cBAGedqiQFUB0aAjCdEALw_wcB)
We live in a 4-season urban environment with a mixture of pavement, shitty sidewalks, some dirt and gravel paths, etc. We have an awesome parks system surrounding the city with a mixture of paved and dirt paths. We will probably dodge cars sometimes, make tight turns, jump over curbs, etc.
I’m leaning toward the Redwood because of the current sale and overall versatility. I’m not exactly sure what type of riding I will do and will *want* to do, so I know if I hate the big knubby tires on the Redwood, I can just swap them out for something more comfortable on roads. I’m a little hesitant on State because of all the reports of mixed quality.
Thoughts?
