About the Role
We are currently seeking a PhD student to join our ValorCO2 project, supported by the Bioeconomy Science Center (BioSC). This role will contribute to an interdisciplinary team focused on developing a microbial platform to transform CO2 and H2 into high-value fine chemicals and biopolymers. The candidate will engage in activities including genetic engineering, metabolic modeling, bioprocess engineering and simulation, and economic and lifecycle analyses, aiming to optimize and scale up the production process for market implementation.
