I’m in the process of swapping r7000 Shimano levers and dropbars onto my old hybrid bike. All going well until bleeding the brakes. I have a Shimano belt kit for this, after pushing fluid through (twice) until it’s free of air bubbles I get no pressure on the brakes at all.
The old calipers are 105/deore BR-M615 while the caliper matched to the levers are (from a Tiagra equipped bike) BR-4770.
I can’t switch the matching calipers onto the old bike as they won’t fit so now I’m stuck with either finding calipers which do or reverting back to the original levers and shifters sans dropbars
