Hi everyone,
Extremely new vintage bike owner here who knows next to nothing about bicycles. I picked up this Shogun CR-MO 300 today for $75 just for occasion recreational riding around my city/ on the bike path. It has new tires and tubes and seemed like a generally great deal.
It is a tad small for me (6’1) but I figured its not a big deal and I can buy a seat post to raise the seat up as my legs are currently a bit too bent when peddling.
My question is: can someone help me figure out what kind of seat post I need? The information online is really limited about this bike but I did see someone do a full restoration on this subreddit. The most I could find is that its a 62cm frame and some other misc details.
Feel free to ask me questions and I’ll answer to the best of my ability, apologies in advance as I know almost nothing about bicycles!
Please also feel free to give me recommendations on specific products that will fit this bike, I dont want to spend too much if I can help it! I am also thinking about replacing the seat as the stock one is not very comfortable at all so any affordable options would be appreciated as well
