In collaboration with the French Institute in Slovakia, we have prepared a series of lectures and discussions on computational architecture and BIM (Building Information Modelling) technologies.
Contemporary practices in architecture and construction industry increasingly utilize information from virtual space. Operating in optimisation of building attributes during design process, coordination during construction, or maintenance during its life cycle. To what extent are these processes interlinked and able to communicate through virtual data?
As part of the conference an exhibition of the Data[LAB] studio will be held. Data[LAB] studio operates at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of Slovak University of Technology and is dedicated to computational design in the field of architecture and design.
