Basically all’s I know is the trek has more gears and hydraulic disk brakes. The Cannondale is on a nice sale but has rim brakes. I live in Phoenix. It’s pretty flat. Also doesn’t rain much from what I know disk brakes are better for rain. More gears better for hilly areas. My main concern is durability. I’m not looking for a project. I’m looking for a bike to bring me from point A to point B
I’m willing to pay more for a more durable bike. But if the only thing I’m paying more for is disk brakes and more gears I don’t see the point. Unless am I missing something
