Hey everyone,

I am in the process of choosing a bike for bikepacking and distilled it down to two options:

* Grizl with a carbon fork ([Grizl CF SL 7 eTap](https://www.canyon.com/en-de/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/cf-sl/grizl-cf-sl-7-etap/3474.html?dwvar_3474_pv_rahmenfarbe=R095_P08))
* Grizl with a suspension fork ([Grizl CF SL 7 Trail](https://www.canyon.com/en-de/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/trail/grizl-cf-sl-7-trail/3698.html?dwvar_3698_pv_rahmenfarbe=R095_P12&dwvar_3698_pv_rahmengroesse=M))

I am planning on mainly riding light gravel and tarmac, but might do some heavier gravel and single trails on the side (central Europe and Australia). The one thing I am worried about is that the suspension fork does not offer mounting options and I that I might not have enough storage capacity for long trips (thinking about food for example). However, I dont want to miss out on the comfort and versatility of a suspension fork. So I guess my question is: how much versatility does a suspension fork add to my usecase and is it even an option when considering the lack of mounting options.

Ofc I checked reddit for that topic but I didnt really find a clear answer.

Any feedback is welcome and thanks in advance 🙂
