A soggy afternoon ride with Hannah along the River Lagan into the centre of Belfast. This is where I grew up. It’s a much brighter and busy place these days than the city I knew, and a lot less violent.

I wrote the clarinet quartet music to accompany one of Hannah’s poems a while ago, “The School Trip”, and since I drop by my old school in this film, it felt appropriate to recycle it .

  1. Another beautiful ride through a place I wish I could see. It looks wonderful – except for the squiggly lines painted on the roads – I'd have no idea what they mean or are trying to instruct. The architecture is fabulous, the place looks clean, well maintained and prosperous. I know it has it's history – but I'm not sure anyone could tell if they landed there today, without a lesson. Thank you again, very much, for posting these. They are very peaceful!
