The Aeroad is the nicest bike I ever owned and after about 6 months and 900mi I’m beginning to notice corrosion on :1) fitting attached to my rear break calliper, 2) on my disk brakes, 3) on the quick release lever. See figures attached. I do live about a mi from the Pacific Ocean but I never ride the bike in the rain or leave it outside. Do you guys have tips for managing this corrosion? Is this caused by these parts simply getting hot or is it possible that break dust that lands here is corrosive?
