Hi! I was going to change my rim tape and sealant today in my 29” plus sized rims (SUNringlé Duroc 50 SL) when I noticed corrosion around the holes where the spokes are tightened.
Slowly the aluminum is getting eaten away. I belief it has something to do with sealant and moisture getting beyond the tape and getting trapped in these spaces.
Any advice on what to do next or how to avoid this? Adding magnesium for cathodic protection? 😉
