I’ve been going down a rabbit hole of upgrade my single speed dirt jumper. I currently have a 10t rear sprocket and am wanting to change that for a 12t. I would change the front chainring however it is difficult to find a tooth count for the the ratio I want.
I have almost no experience when it comes to bike parts and can’t seem to find any answers through research this time. From what I’ve found rear hubs either have a freewheel where the sprocket and ratchet assembly are one or a freehub where that can all be swapped out.
I’m having a hard time figuring out what mine would be classified as and whether or not I can change the tooth count on it? Its a NS bikes 135×10 mm single speed hub if that helps. If that cant be changed I’m open to any affordable or midrange rear hub assemblies for single speed!
