Basically the title. I have a vintage bike that has a bolt-on axle. Everytime I remove the wheel (to fix a flat or recently to replace my tires) I have to spend hours fiddling with the wheel so it is fully centered. The problem is since I installed full fenders, sometimes it’s impossible to find the sweet spot on the dropout to center the wheel and make sure it doesn’t rub against the fender. Even if I find such spot, once I put torque on the bolts with a wrench, they shift slightly and ruin the whole adjustment. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to make this process less of a hassle? Does something like a chain tensioner help here?
