I decided to cycle to all the park lakes covered by Liverpool Councils Parks fishing permit.
The route I chose, beginning with Walton Hall Park, totalled just under 24 miles, ending at Larkhill Gardens.
It was a relatively short distance, but the incessant headwind from the remnants of Storm Kathleen ensured it was a quite gruelling ride.
