Looking for my entry-level bike, and i’ve mostly narrowed it down to these two. Based on some research, I’m leaning towards the [GRVL 120](https://www.decathlon.com/products/triban-grvl120-gravel-bike?variant=39416625987646&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw_e2wBhAEEiwAyFFFoxZCA57KUO-jkAWPdeo6o5VLKAVfaUB9aWaYDS1NE1PQPjJw4swF2hoCZ2sQAvD_BwE) at $700. However the [RC120](https://www.decathlon.com/products/rc-120-disc-326838) is on clearance at Decathlon right now for only $500. I’m wondering if it might be worth it to get the RC120, and then equip new, more trip-appropriate tires. $200 can go a long way in trips like these (as I’m sure y’all know)

Anyone have any experience w/ these bikes? Thoughts?

For reference, I am planning about a monthlong tour through France. Mostly flat and the days aren’t so long (around 40mi per day). I’ll need to get new panniers/saddlebags for either bike. They don’t *currently* have the RC120 in my size (M), which may explain why its on clearance for so cheap.
