I had knee surgery in October and my PT has told me biking is one of the best possible things I can do during recovery and long term to protect and strengthen my knee. Well, now that it’s warm enough that there’s no ice on the roads, I got an e-bike and biked to work all three days I was in office this week. It’s not far, 7km/4mi one way, and the e-bike is tremendously helpful as my knee and leg aren’t super strong yet, but I’m hoping over time to need less and less assist and to one day transition to a normal bike for my commute.
