This is my second cannondale capo track frame that I’ve built. This bike wasn’t originally owned by me over a year ago and was subsequently stolen from me by some scumbag who was acting like he was my friend but has since been dealt with. I actually recently was reunited with it this past Sunday! I was at the Museum of Science with my daughter and I was looking for somewhere to lock up one of my other bikes and I happened upon the employee bike cage and saw my bike sitting there with two flat tires in a wacky configuration from who stole it before. I alerted the security guard on duty and showed them a picture of me with the bike a year prior and they had no choice but to give me the bike back! Definitely a happy ending! 😁 I originally had this bike configured a little bit differently but have since built it in a much more appropriate manner.
I painted the bike in a color changing paint that goes from purple to teal to a blue color with some hints of gold via gold flake in the paint. But I will probably be painting it in the next week or so. Along with adding some newly acquired parts such as a SRAM omnium crank set and King HEADSET. Although I’m conflicted as to if I should throw on my Dura Ace track/messenger crankset instead 🤔 choices choices…
