BICYCLE TOURING THE NETHERLANDS: THE NORTH – PART 2 GRONINGEN & FRIESLAND.
Early May 2021 I did a small bicycle tour in the North of the Netherlands. This is a part of the Netherlands that I do not know that well. So indeed a small adventure in my own country during Covid times.
This video is about the second day were I rode 137 km from Delfzijl to Sneek. Along the way passing places like Pieterburen, Doodstil, Dokkum and Leeuwarden.

Lucky thing I managed one tour ride to Sheffield this year before I got a really bad case of Sciatica and now the summers ended .

"Doodstil", sounds just like the expression in English, "stood still" , meaning non movement and implied, silence, the links between our languages is one of the few things, that are completely, undeniable.
I'm not too keen on the music but after I smoked some dope, everything felt just fine.
