Summary: Put $450 into a 70s bike, don’t want it anymore, how much can I sell it for?
So I painted and restored this 70s Bridgestone bike someone was giving away. Bought a $200 set of wheels because nothing else fit, a new chain, cassette, pedals, saddle, seat post, brake cable and housing, and handlebar grips, totaling to $450ish. I know, a massive waste of money, but it was a passion project purely for fun. It’s a great bike overall, but I don’t really ride it and end up on a single speed bike I much prefer, and want to sell it and buy a fixie. I know I’ll lose money, but it’s alright. Just want to move on to the next thing.
