Not very experienced in the road bike world other than my beat up steel commuter. But have a lot of experience mountain biking and handling a bike in general. Not really great on the maintenance side but am smart enough to figure some basic stuff out.
Was looking for some advice on this used FELT AR5 for $790.
Seems to be a cool hybrid between a road bike and a time trail bike that will definitely go fast.
But I’m concerned about using it on the roads in Colorado (hills), and increased maintenance costs due to my unfamiliarity with this type of bike. I am the type of person who likes to grow into something that might be too advanced for me in the beginning.
Feel like I can talk him down a bit from $790 as well.
