Thinking of getting myself a used bike now that the season is starting and I kind of in need of advice.
Some backstory:
I had a [Rocky Mountain Soul 730 2017](https://99spokes.com/en-EU/bikes/rockymountain/2017/soul-730) before which I absolutely loved. I was riding a playful style on it, mostly street and trails but sometimes at bikeparks too. During the time that I had it, I learned how to service a bunch since something always broke (I was riding very often and I feel like it was simply too few bike for me). Unfortunately it got stolen in October, so I am now thinking of an upgrade.
The two bikes in question are:

Both bikes are available for roughly $1000 in my local currency. Both of them are in used condition but apparently have no cracks or nothing serious.
The problem is that Merida is much further away (about 400km by car), and while I’m kind of leaning more towards this bike since i probably prefer enduro, l’m not sure if it’s worth the drive as Cannondale is in my city.
What are your opinions on this? How do the two bikes compare to each other?
