I’ve been daily commuting by bike for the past year in snowy, cold, windy, and rainy Buffalo NY. I was on a used Specialized Sirrus I got from the local bike shop for a few hundred bucks. It worked but an upgrade was definitely in order if I wanted to do more serious rides. I bit the bullet and bought a 2024 Marin Four Corners 2. It comes stock with the Sram apex 1 group set and has a steel frame. This bike is a dream to ride. Definitely worth the steep price of 2,000$ if you’re commuting year round. What does everyone think about the brand Marin? Good reputation in the bike world?
