Hello!
I am looking to make my first splash into a gravel bike (I got a cheap mountain bike summer last year to commute to university, as I was worried about theft), but have fallen in love with going on longer distance rides around the city and countryside, which is not particularly enjoyable on a 250 dollar mountain bike… I have done a decent amount of research, and I have narrowed my search down to these 2 bikes. I am limited to stock at my local bike shop (unless I were to order something online and assemble it myself). The riding I do is probably ~80% pavement 20% gravel/dirt trails. I have attached a comparison of the bikes from 99spokes.com.
With current sales they are both basically $2500 CAD. Curious if anyone has experience with these bikes or has any other bikes they would recommend to purchase online (ideally easy to assemble as I have little experience servicing bikes outside of chain maintenance). Also must have hydraulic disk brakes.
