finally get to climb one of the most famous cols in the alps perfect day , magical climb
Okay so here we go good morning leaving the campsite very nice camp like this heading up the mountain here this is El is on the brt been waiting a long time to do this one a long long time I always wanted to do this climb and today I am doing
It and immediately kicks up this is awesome this is awesome immediately it kicks up let’s get some other gears here sure what feels nice not having the luggage on y Happy Days man let’s see how this one go I always wanted to do UPS to do it on AB bromton I think it’s
Going to be amazing I’m obviously a lot lighter today wol just got my front pan here most of the stuff I’ve taken out so it’s got water fire Bank jacket some food and that’s it wsky up we go up Mountain go this is going to be epic such a beautiful
Morning perfect perfect weather got a breath of wind still cool it’s going to get to 28 today I think see so this is the famous op Is busy Little Mountain already man it’s so nice running with panties it is so much easier it’s just as well cuz this this far kicks up prop there kicks up properly lot steeper than gilia was which is good I want a nice challenge today not the Gia wasn’t a challenge
With luggage it was a serious challenge I this is beautiful know why every par I’ve been up has got serious construction work somewhere on it has just a constant stream of trucks and cement mixes construction vehicles it’s like what the hell anyway 12 car to go 10 grading ni good
Stuck that y breezing and Diesel fumes all the way up it’s not the greatest I suppose this is the first world this to be buil comes another truck the mixer they’re very good though they do so well clear of You so you are two and 18 it’s 18 22 the top apparently I love that road over there check out that the way it’s cut through the rock there that’s incredible look at that baby up we go okay so it’s flattened out to 7% now which is really nice super

Realizes actually a lot easier on the heill they’re easy to keep turning a flat different story but on a hill very easy to keep rolling if you can get on top of the gear see without luggage obviously Bo he’s going to do some downal fabulous are cycling crazy it’s wonderful Christmas Lots so Go okay turn three it’s turn two turn one so I don’t know that must be it it’s over a bit quick I was expecting it to be longer than that look at the distance okay nice climb not the hardest but it’s a nice clim I there’s a difference between
Riding it like I’m doing now riding it fast and racing it racing it must be a monster it just cruising like I am now with that pen is easy peasy it’s sure beautiful really really beautiful that must be the ski resort hope to is here’s the
Town where the top is but I suppose it pretty close oh that was pretty good little bit disappointing I thought it was going to be harder than that J it’s nice nice CL pretty very pretty not a touch on now you’re going well man no worries BMC is a good

Presume that is the what’s it boys some cool little bikes here I like that One for [Applause] [Applause] for for well what a climb what a climb and what a difference um climbing without all the luggage hey what a difference climbing with a bromton that any weighs 13 kilos or 12 and 1/2 kilos instead of 35 kilos Al is it was it’s always been on
My backer list I’ve always wanted to climb it I really thought it was going to be super super hard um but I think well obviously if you’re racing it it’s super hard but climbing it climbing all the other climbs like iier and c and and um
Gross Glock and all of those with with full luggage and and now coming to climb this with no luggage it actually felt oh dare I say it it actually felt quite easy the gradients weren’t ridiculous I think the steepest it got was about 9% which is perfectly climbable without any luggage on the
Brompton and yeah time I don’t know the exact time but it was just short of two hours to the top and then obviously The Descent was was quite a bit of time getting down again because I spent a bit of time sitting on the top and chatting
To people and and checking it all out it’s it’s beautiful absolutely beautiful up there there was some other mountain bike event happening at the top when when I was up there which was pretty cool to to watch I didn’t get to really get into it too much but yeah it looked
Great so yeah Al to is that was a that was always a big one to do um Gia to me and gr clo are much more beautiful climbs um but your Al to is spectacular in its own right man and I think everyone should do it I see why
It’s one of the most popular climbs in the world it’s easy to get to there’s lots of infrastructure around it’s not like m 2 where you’ve got to go miles and to middle of nowh to go do it so yeah bring your bike and come ride man if I can get
Up there in under two hours in a Bramton I think most cars can probably do it in about an hour and a half I’m guessing what is it 17 k something like that these boys are Shifty but y enjoyed enjoyed a lot come and do it and thanks for watching check you out
