Ireland is a great destination for cycle touring…if you can get the weather for it! The Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast offers wild landscape, wild weather and wild people!
For this trip we travelled lighter than usual, to allow us to soak up the beauty of our surroundings. We cycled a loop from Maam Cross, to Leenaun, by the beautiful Killary Fjord and on towards Clifden. It took us three easy days to do the loop, you could probably do it in one day if you didn’t stop at every pub and cafe along the way!
